As of now there isn't a lot of stuff here, so the sitemap will take shape slowly.

You probably will not have clicked this link expecting something, but since you're here anyways, I guess it's about time I tell you that there isn't anything here yet, so go ahead and click BACK on your browser

Hi everybody,

I am Arjun from planet Earth, and this is my website. Do close the advertisement appearing at the top of this page, it tends to get irritating after awhile.

Why did I make this website? I don't really know that, it just seemed like a cool fun thing to do. Everything here has been hand-to-mouse-picked by me. All the hover effects, image designing, and photographs are mine. My heartfelt gratitude goes to the numerous active members at forums about CSS and HTML, and especially to w3schools, for the brilliant and to-the-point tutorials. The designing took me quite lot of time, I tend to be fastidious at times and I am quite satisfied with the end result.

The links to my blog, photo album and twitter album are to the top right. Don't visit unless you have nothing really interesting to do.

Regarding me, I consider myself to be quite an honest, objective and generally an amiable character. However, I am not as forthright as I would sometimes like to be. I love debates on generic, but don't like to get into arguments a lot. I don't withhold my opinions and am a good listener. I love to get involved in a whole lot of things, and enjoy handling several responsibilities parallelly. I wouldn't exactly say that I live life to it's fullest, though I'd like to call myself a student of life. Friends are really important to me, and my mom is my best friend. I try to choose my words carefully, especially in writing, but I guess you would have already noticed this by now. I am not a genius, by any stretch of the imagination, but I love to learn things, generally! Lastly, I have a great sense of humour. I really do.

I am not going to request you to keep coming back to this site or to be friends. However if you're losing sleep over it, do shoot me a mail, if it makes you feel better. I reply

I am very good at taking up new hobbies, and even better at giving them up once they get boring(after all if it gets boring it's no longer a hobby right?) So I made a separate section for hobbies. Some that come to my mind immediately are:

* Reading
* Movies
* Sports
* Blogging
* Running
* Writing.. haven't begun but have given it a lot of thought
* Rubik's Cube
* Travelling
* Some(rather any) musical instrument
rest for later

Running for me has evolved from a fitness issue to a hobby that I love and enjoy. I still haven't reached the stage where I design my diet and time table around my running, nor am I really good at it, to be frank. It's an amazing feeling and I love it, one of those things that cannot be weighed along with many other things. I am proud to have helped organize a few running events and share the jot of running. Here's a list of events I ran

* OCBC Cyle Singapore -40km Cycling(Singapore, March 2009)
* Adidas Sundown Marathon -Full Marathon(Singapore, June 2009)
* RFL's Urban Stampede -4x5km Corporate relay(Bangalore, September 2009 and 2010)
* Kaveri Trail Marathon -Half Marathon(Srirangapatnam, October 2009)
* Nike Human Race -10km(Bangalore, October 2009)

I also helped organize a few running events
* NSN Run4Fun, a run organised to ianugurate a new Office Complex of Nokia Siemens Networks at Manyata Tech Park, Bangalore.
* BITSAA 5k run, organised by BITSAA and run by BITSians around the world on the same day. Similar to the Nike Human Race.
* Sunfeast 10k, though I couldn't participate myself, a contingent of 40 odd runners from NSN participated.

THings that don't need a section for themselves, while uncategorizable elsewhere:

* My bucketlist
* My life's experiences
* Debates, discussions and my opinions
* Debates and opinions
* BITS-Pilani
* Friends and family

Here's my bucket list. My ideas and priorities will definitely change over time, and accordingly this list will keep changing. However, it will be great fun to see how much the things that are 'important' to me change as I grow older:-

* Making my own website, and displaying my bucketlist to the world... this is the latest one to tick off :P
* Featuring on the cover of a "prominent" magazine... newspaper will do too, by prominent I mean one that when it happens, it should be my acquaintances calling up to tell me about it, rather than the other way round
* Laying foot on every continent... one down, six more to go
* Bungy jumping...done this one in Macau, that too the world's highest, so I get extra points
* Author a book... this is definitely not going to be technical, maybe I should have written novel, but actually a book would do
* Fly a plane by myself... by myself meaning that if I feel like killing myself, I should be able to
* Learn swimming well... to the extent that if I want to try a triathlon, I shouldn't fear drowning
* Run a marathon... have already done this one, and cycled one too
* Participate in a triathlon... very intimately linked to the previous two points
* Learn a musical instrument... this ones tougher than I thought, not that I lack enthu, people around me can't take the noise!
* Do a stand-up comedy performance... I know lots of people I know will say that this happens every time I go on stage, but I want it to be intentional! :)
* Deliver a TED talk... This shouldn't need a lot of explaining. If it does, click here

* The Vegetarian's argument
* Does God exist? Give the poor fellow a break
* The importance of argument
